Process Status dialog
Use the Process Status dialog to review the details of a process and perform administrative activities on active processes. The contents of this dialog depend on whether the process is currently active, or whether you are viewing the details of a previously stopped or completed process (process history).
This dialog is available to administrators and process owners only.
Dialog overview
The top bar of the dialog summarizes the overall status of the process. The bottom section of the dialog displays information for each step in the process. When you select a step in the left-hand pane, the step details and step activity display in the right-hand pane. If a step has sub-steps, then you can double-click the parent step to show or hide the sub-steps.
All step settings in the Step Details section are read-only in this view. If you need to change step settings for a currently active process, use the Edit process definition link at the top of the dialog.

Dialog actions
The following actions are available in this dialog:

Edit process Definition OR View process Definition |
Open the associated process definition.

Stop process OR Start process |
Stop or start the process (depending on whether or not the process is currently active). For more information, see:

Process history |
Open the Process Manager dialog to view the available historical instances for this process. For more information, see Viewing process history. |
Complete step OR Approve step / Reject step / Deny request |
Complete the currently selected step. This action is only available if the step is active.

Move current step |
Move the process to a different step. This action is only available if the currently selected step is active. For more information, see Moving processes to different steps. |
Move plan files |
Move individual plan files in a plan file process to a different step. If the plan file process is a subprocess, this action is only available when selecting a sub-step in the subprocess. For more information, see Moving plan files to different steps. |
Regenerate tasks |
Regenerate tasks for the currently selected step. This action is only available if the step is active. For more information, see:

Activate plan files |
Start inactive plan files within the process. Only applies to plan file processes. For more information, see Updating plan file processes for changes to the plan code table. |
Abort plan files |
Stop active plan files within the process. Only applies to plan file processes. For more information, see Updating plan file processes for changes to the plan code table. |
<StepAction> |
If the currently selected step has an associated action, such as opening a designated file, this action is available in the top right-hand corner of the toolbar. For example, if the currently selected step is an Import Process Step, then the action would be Open Import. NOTE: For steps in a plan file process, the associated action is always Open Plan Files. Clicking the button opens the currently selected plan files. |
