Daily operating expense

The daily operating expense data can be entered by company and effective month and is required to calculate the daily cash on hand for an organization.

Enter the Daily Operating Expense amounts

  1. On the Treasury Cash Management page, click Cash Flow/Working CapitalDaily Operating Expense.

  2. Indicate the Daily Operating Expense by following one of two methods:

    • Enter the Default Daily Operating Expense.

    • Enter the requested data for each company within the organization.

      • Select the Company from the drop-down menu.

      • Select the applicable Effective Month from the drop-down menu.

      • Enter the amount of Daily Operating Expense for the company selected in that row for that effective month.

NOTE: The Default Daily Operating Expense value is used if no values are provided for the Company and the prior effective month. For example, if the company is selected, but no data is indicated for the prior month, Treasury Cash Management (TCM) uses the Default Daily Operating Expense value to calculate the Daily Cash on Hand amount.

NOTE: The Daily Operating Expense value is used as the denominator wherever TCM calculates Daily Cash on Hand.
