User permissions
Users with Axiom Administration permissions to manage user accounts can select the level of access in several areas. When editing a user, you can manage user roles in System Administration.
NOTE: To help you get started, download our User Permissions FAQs sheet.
The following tables list all the application user types in Clinical Analytics and indicates their related privileges and permissions. Green cells indicate privileges each user type has.
Roles for system administration
The System Administration roles grant a user access to unlocking data and the System Administration interface. If the user's role for this function is left blank, he or she has none of the following privileges and cannot access patient-level (encrypted) data in Clinical Analytics. For more information, see Encryption and unlocking.
Any user whose role for System Administration is Basic or Health System Administrator can view PHI (Protected Health Information). Users whose role for System Administration is blank cannot view PHI.
