Profiles

When conducting an investigation into a particular patient population, we can define the parameters of that population in a Profile.

NOTE: To help you get started, download our Profiles FAQs sheet.

The functions of profiles are similar across all Clinical Analytics applications to make working across modules more intuitive.

NOTE: The only difference in profile functionality across the Clinical Analytics applications: a profile in Scorecards is unique to the scorecard it is built in. Profiles in Facility Reporting and PPE Reporting are global and can be used in any Distribution.

Profile manager in scorecards

In any scorecard, you can add, delete, or edit profiles by clicking the Profile Manager button in the upper right corner of the screen.

To exit the Profile Manager and be taken back to your scorecard, click the green check in the upper right corner.

Profile manager in PPE and Facility reporting

In PPE and Facility Reporting, click the Profiles tab to access the Profile Manager, then click any other tab to exit the Profile Manager.

Profile manager

In any of the Clinical Analytics applications (Scorecards, PPE Reporting, Facility Reporting), once you are in the Profile Manager, you have the same customization options.

The Profile Manager page lists all of the scorecards already in the scorecard with a summary of each profile's parameters.

From left to right in this table, you have the following columns:

  • The check-boxes allow you select multiple profiles, then click Delete Selected Profiles to remove them from the scorecard. This action is not reversible.

  • Name: This is the name that appears when selecting your analysis and/or benchmark profiles in each section
  • Profile types
  • Grouping types
  • Profile filters: A summary of filters applied to the profile is listed. If no filters are applied, a "No Filters. All available data returned" notification appears.
  • Default Benchmark Categories are which measure categories you have marked as default in the profile settings.
  • Default Profile: This column reads "Default" for the internal profile that you have marked as default in the profile settings.
