Display language and format

The Axiom Enterprise Decision Support display language and format (currency, dates, and so on) are determined as follows:

• Desktop Client (Excel or Windows): By the regional format setting of your operating system.
• Web Client: By the language setting of the browser.

Axiom Enterprise Decision Support automatically appears in the specified format/language if it is supported. Otherwise, English is used. If you want Axiom Enterprise Decision Support to appear in a different language, you can change the language from the Web Client user panel.

To change the language displayed in Axiom Enterprise Decision Support

1. In the Web Client, select the user avatar in the Global navigation bar The common bar across the top of pages in the Web Client. The Navigation bar provides access to system and product features.. The user avatar is the current user's initials in a circle.

   

   The Language field shows the currently used language.

2. Select a language from the drop-down list to show Axiom Enterprise Decision Support in that language.

   The language selection persists for 30 days in the current browser, unless it is changed again.

The Web Client immediately changes to use the selected language. If you want to use the Desktop Client in the selected language, you can launch the Windows Client or Excel Client from the Web Client Quick Launch pane. Other means of launching the Desktop Client will not use the Web Client language (such as launching it from a desktop shortcut).
