report components
Web reports consist of various components that you can configure as needed using the Report Builder. Currently, you cannot add new components to web reports, you can only configure the components provided by the template that was used to create the web report.
Web reports are created by placing various components on the web report, and then configuring the data and display properties of those components. The following components are available to be used in web reports.
A web report template may contain the following components:
- Data Grid: Query data from the Axiom Software database and display it in a grid.
- Hyperlink: Users can click the hyperlink text to open a web page or a document.
- KPI Panel: Display key performance indicators (KPIs) in a series of automatically-formatted boxes.
- Label: Display small amounts of user-defined text, such as for titles, descriptions, or contact information.
- Panel: Group and position multiple child components within a panel.
NOTE: Panel components can be used in the web report template to control placement and sizing of other components, but they cannot be further configured in the Report Builder.
