Surgical Process measures
For clients providing surgical process time stamp data, Clinical Analytics has 19 surgical case-level throughput measures 16 encounter-level throughput measures.
Surgical Case-Level measures
These measures are calculated for each surgical case provided in your data. Keep in mind that a single encounter can have multiple surgical cases. These measure values can be found in the encounter's Clinical Case Summary and by adding these measures in a Two Column Section Line Chart with a Surgical Case-Level Profile.

| Total Staff Minutes - All Surgeries | Sum of all staff minutes from all surgeries during the encounter. If an encounter has multiple surgeries, the total staff minutes over all surgeries is calculated. |
| Total Staff Minutes - Longest Surgery | Sum of all staff minutes recorded during the surgery with longest duration for the encounter. |
| Total Supply Cost - All Surgeries | Total cost in supplies from all surgeries during the encounter. If an encounter has multiple surgeries, the cost of all supplies from all surgeries is calculated. |
| Total Supply Cost - Longest Surgery | Total cost in supplies from the surgery with longest duration for the encounter. |
| Wasted Supply Cost - All Surgeries | Total cost in wasted supplies from all surgeries during the encounter. If an encounter has multiple surgeries, the cost of all wasted supplies from all surgeries is calculated. An item used during surgery is considered wasted if it is marked as wasted in supply data. |
