Benchmarks

Clinical Analytics purchases, maintains, and utilizes a proprietary database of over 1 Billion patient encounter records from MedPar and All Payer sources from across the United States. These data are available to your organization for use on your server to benchmark your performance and identify areas of improvement opportunity.

Definitions

Peer Group

We consider a Peer Group to the set of facilities you would like to compare your facility to. Peer Groups can be defined as all facilities in a certain region, of a certain size, or with a particular specialty. Clinical Analytics Software supports over 1600 standard peer group sets, and we can also create a custom peer group if we don't already have the grouping you need.

Benchmarks

We consider benchmarks to be the measure values you are comparing your facility's data to. Benchmark values can be calculated from peer group (external) data or internal data from your facility.
