System Administration

The Clinical Analytics System Administration application is for creating and managing users, including viewing user logs and system performance.

NOTE: Are you looking for Clinical Analytics Administration? Clinical Analytics Administration is for managing section-specific templates, physicians and physician groups, benchmarks, and data loads.

Access System Administration

This application is accessed from the Applications box on the Home page.

To view the System Administration application, you must have Health System Coordinator permissions for the System Administration role. See User permissions for more details.

Users with Basic permissions for System Administration have access to Unlock data to view patient-level information, but cannot see the System Administration application link on the Home page.

System Administration tabs

The functions of System Administration are organized onto tabs, as you are likely used to from working around Clinical Analytics. The tabs include:

  • Users tab: A searchable table of all users on the server; this is how you can manage users, including editing permissions, managing encryption keys, and resetting passwords
  • Active Sessions tab: See who is currently signed in to Clinical Analytics
  • Performance tab: See which Clinical Analytics pages are used most frequently and which take the longest to load
  • User Logs tab: See how frequently users are signed in to Clinical Analytics, including basic information about the user activity during each session
