ProviderComp settings

The following table describes the ProviderComp settings for the Budget Provider Configuration driver:

Option Description
Compensation For each row from Show Compensation Calculations On Provider Comp? to CompAlt3Tier - Include & Compute Method?, select the option to include (Yes) or exclude (No) the calculation method.
Default Additional Compensation Pay Type Select the Default Additional Compensation pay type.
Compensation Adjustment Budget from Projected Enter the Compensation Adjustment Budget from Projected.
Productive Pay Type

Double-click Paytype to select an alternative provider-specific pay type for productive hours and dollars.

If Productive Pay Type is not configured using the Budget Provider Configuration driver, productive pay type values originate from the Budget Labor Configuration driver.

Paid Time Off Pay Type

Double-click Paytype to select an alternative provider-specific pay type for non-productive hours and dollars.

If Paid Time Off (non-productive) is not configured using the Budget Provider Configuration driver, non-productive pay type values originate from the Budget Labor Configuration driver.

Red Flag Parameters

Update the Volume and Revenue values in the following rows:

  • Percent Increase Threshold

  • Percent Decrease Threshold

  • Dollar Threshold (+/-)

Threshold Parameters to limit Provider data

Determines if the Driver Stat Volume and Gross Charges meet a certain level before including a provider when creating a plan file. These checks can occur for CYA, CYB, and LYA (Provider_20XX tables).

For both the Volume and Revenue threshold criteria, enter the threshold parameters that Providers must exceed to be included in the plan file. For example, if the Volume threshold is 3 WRVUs and the Revenue is $10,000, the Providers must exceed these thresholds to be included in the plan file.

NOTE: The Provider must meet both criteria to be included in the plan file. If no records exist for Driver Stat Volume (for example, WRVU) or Gross Charges, but a secondary stat record exists (for example, Visits), the system builds a provider block.
