Delete population definitions

Deleting a definition removes all of the tagged encounters as well as the definition from the system.

TIP: We recommend only using this action for definitions that will never be used again in the future. For definitions that you want to keep but not use currently, we recommend archiving the definition instead. For more information, see Archive population definitions.

IMPORTANT: You cannot undo this action.

To delete a population definition:

1. From the Enterprise Decision Support home page, in the Data enhancement and refinement section, click Define populations.

2. Click the definition to highlight it, and click the trash can icon.

3. Review the warning message prompt, and click OK.
