Activate or deactivate reclass definitions
Instead of deleting a definition, you can deactivate it so that the system does not process it with the cost model. You can activate it again, as needed, and place the definition in its original run order or select a new run order position.
Activate a reclass definition
When you create a new definition, the system activates it by default unless you deactivate it. These steps apply to any definitions that you want to reactivate.

From the Enterprise Decision Support home page, click Modify most recent cost model or Manage cost models in the Cost accounting section. The last cost model you selected is shown at the top of the page.

To change cost models, select another one from the Select cost model dropdown.

Under the Reclasses and allocations section, click Define reclasses.

To display the deactivated definitions in the list, go to the Manage reclass definitions page and select the Show only active definitions check box at the top of the page.

For the definition to activate, click Mark active in the Active column.
TIP: If you are in the definition, you can also activate it by clicking the Activate? toggle to Yes.

In the Activate definition? dialog, take one of the following actions:
- To activate the definition in its original run order position, click Keep definition in its original position.
- To activate the definition and place it in a different run order position, click Move definition after the following definition. Then, from the dropdown, select a definition location after which to place the definition.

Click Activate.

Edit the definition processing order, as needed.

When ready, process the cost model.
Deactivate a reclass definition

From the Enterprise Decision Support home page, click Modify mos recent cost model or Manage cost models in the Cost accounting section.

Under the Reclasses and allocations section, click Define reclasses.

Click the Reclass definitions tab.

To deactivate the definition, select the check mark in the Active column.
TIP: If you are in the definition, you can also activate it by clicking the Activate? toggle to No.
- In the Deactivate definition? dialog, review the message and click Deactivate to proceed.
- At the confirmation prompt, click OK.
- When ready, process the cost model.
