Changing your Axiom Enterprise Decision Support password

If your authentication method is Axiom Prompt, you can change your password as needed using the Desktop Client General term for using either the Excel Client or the Windows Client, both of which are installed to the user's desktop.. This feature does not apply to users who are using any other authentication method (such as Windows User Authentication), because those passwords are controlled externally from Axiom Enterprise Decision Support.

To change your password

  1. On the Axiom tab, in the Help group, select Help > Change Password.

    NOTE: In systems with installed products, this feature may be located on the Main or Admin tab.

    This command is only available to Axiom Prompt users.

  2. In the Set Password dialog, enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.

    If password rules are being enforced, your password must meet the rules. A validation message informs you of the rules if necessary. Alternatively, you can select Generate Password to auto-generate a password that meets the rules. If you do this, make sure to note the generated password because you will not have another opportunity to see it. If you do not note the password and cannot log in later, an administrator will need to reset your password.

  3. Select OK.

Your password is now changed. You will need to use this new password the next time that you log in.
