Keyboard shortcuts
This topic is a reference for the keyboard shortcuts available when working in the Desktop Client General term for using either the Excel Client or the Windows Client, both of which are installed to the user's desktop. for Axiom.
Keyboard access to the ribbon
If you are using the Excel Client, the key tips available to access ribbon features in Microsoft Excel are also available when working in Axiom. For details on the key tips for your version of Excel, see the Excel Help file.
Additionally, many features on the default Axiom ribbon tab can be accessed using key tips. These key tips are only available when the tab is named "Axiom" (or the official localized name). If you have customized the ribbon to use a different name, the key tips are not present. To see the available key tips, press Alt then KH.
If you are using the Windows Client, the Axiom tab uses the same key tips as when using the Excel Client. Additionally, the items on the Home tab can also be accessed via key tips. For the most part, these items use the same key tips as the corresponding menu items in Excel. However, there are a few differences (for example, Zoom uses Q in Excel but Z in the Windows Client, since Z is available in that environment).
If present, the Axiom Designer tab can also be accessed using key tips. To see the available key tips, press Alt then G (in both clients).
NOTE: If you have renamed the Axiom or Axiom Designer tabs, or if you have created custom ribbon tabs to replace them, then the key tips to access those tabs will be randomly assigned by Excel. Once you access the tabs, the features on the tabs may still be accessible using the same key tips.
Combination shortcut keys
If you are using the Excel Client, the shortcut keys available in Microsoft Excel are also available when working in Axiom files. For details on the keyboard shortcuts for your version of Excel, see the Excel Help file. Additionally, the following shortcut keys will perform Axiom-specific features:

Function keys
If you are using the Excel Client, the function keys available in Microsoft Excel are also available when working in Axiom files. For details on the function key actions for your version of Excel, see the Excel Help file. Additionally, the following function keys will perform Axiom-specific features:
