Edit a scenario

Use these instructions to rename, activate, or inactivate a scenario, or to change which scenario is the default.

NOTE: To edit scenarios, you must have the Rolling Forecast Global Management role in addition to either the RF Admin or RF Analyst role.

To edit a scenario:

1. In the Scenario Manager, select Existing Scenarios (View, Copy, Delete, Edit), and then click Next.
2. In the table listing the scenarios, locate the row for the scenario, and then, in the Edit column, click the Edit icon ().
3. In the Edit Scenario dialog, do any of the following:
   • To rename a scenario, in the New Description field, type a new name.
   • To deactivate a scenario, click the Active toggle to Off.
   • To activate an inactive scenario, click the Active toggle to On.

   • To make the scenario the default, click the Make Default? checkbox.

     NOTE: Once a scenario has been made the default, you cannot remove the default status by clearing this checkbox; instead, you must make another scenario the default. When you do, the checkbox for this scenario is cleared automatically.

4. Reprocess the scenario.
5. Click Save.
