Method Explanation
Global Only Volume ONLY – Used when you want to only apply the global driver growth and ignore the historical forecast group growth factor.
Last Month Uses the month immediately prior to the current period as the basis for the forecast.
Same Month

Uses the same month from last year as the basis for the forecast.

3 Month Avg Uses the average from the prior three months as the basis for the first forecast period only. The second forecast period will use the amount in the first forecast period as its starting point instead of an average of the previous 3 months. Subsequent forecast periods will use the Last Month forecast method.
6 Month Avg Uses the average from the last six months as the basis for the first forecast period only. The second forecast period will use the amount in the first forecast period as its starting point instead of an average of the previous 6 months. Subsequent forecast periods will use the Last Month forecast method.
9 Month Avg Uses the average from the last nine months as the basis for the first forecast period only. The second forecast period will use the amount in the first forecast period as its starting point instead of an average of the previous 9 months. Subsequent forecast periods will use the Last Month forecast method.
12 Month Avg Uses the average from the last twelve months as the basis for the first forecast period only. The second forecast period will use the amount in the first forecast period as its starting point instead of an average of the previous 12 months. Subsequent forecast periods will use the Last Month forecast method.
