Log in as selected user fails
Summary
The Log in as selected user feature logs in as your account or prompts you to log in, instead of opening as the selected user.
Details
Administrators and other users who manage security may need to log into Axiom Capital Tracking as other users, in order to test security permissions. By design, the Log in as selected user feature in the Security Management dialog launches a new instance of Axiom Capital Tracking, and you are automatically logged in as the selected user—you do not need to input a user name and password.
In order for the feature to work, your workstation must meet one of the following requirements:
- Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer 11 is set as your workstation’s default browser.
- Your alternate default browser has a ClickOnce extension installed.
If your workstation does not meet the browser prerequisites, the "log in as" feature may launch and log in as yourself, or prompt you to log in.

Resolution
Resolving this issue requires making a change to the browser configuration on your local workstation. Depending on your Information Technology department policies, you may need assistance to make changes on your workstation.
To resolve the issue, you can do either of the following:

You can temporarily change your default browser to Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer 11. To change your default browser on a Windows 10 workstation, refer to the steps provided by Microsoft on their support site.

If your default browser is not Edge or Internet Explorer, then you can locate and install a ClickOnce extension to your current default browser.
ClickOnce extensions can be downloaded and installed from the appropriate extension sites for Chrome and Firefox. Your Information Technology department may need to assist in this process.
IMPORTANT: The following links to ClickOnce extensions for Chrome and Firefox are provided as examples. Syntellis does not officially support any particular ClickOnce extension. The ClickOnce extensions referenced below may or may not work for your organization, and may become unavailable or out-of-date at any time. The only officially supported way to install and/or launch the Axiom Desktop Client is by using Microsoft Edge with ClickOnce support enabled.
