Home page

All users have a home page that opens automatically when you log into Axiom Budgeting and Forecasting for Higher Education. Depending on your system, the Web Client home page may be one of the following:

  • A product-specific home page for an installed Axiom Budgeting and Forecasting for Higher Education product
  • A custom home page created specifically for your organization
  • The default Axiom Budgeting and Forecasting for Higher Education home page

If you navigate away from the home page, you can return to it by using the Area menu in the Global Navigation Bar The common bar across the top of pages in the Web Client. The Navigation bar provides access to system and product features.:

If you are in a system with installed products, the Area menu may contain product names instead of the Home item. In that case, you can select a product name to return to the home page for that product.

Axiom Budgeting home page

When you log in, Axiom Budgeting and Forecasting displays your active plan files and budget variance metrics. Plan files are organized into three categories: Budgeting, Labor Planning, and Budget Requests.

NOTE: The Budget Requests tab and the Budget Request status area of the home page are only available to clients with the Budget Request license. Additionally, the Labor Planning and Budget Requests tabs are only available once those functional areas have been set up by a Syntellis implementation consultant or your system administrator.

This page has the following features:

  • Notifications: You can read and delete notifications using the same features available in the Notifications panel.

  • Quick Links: You can use a set of global quick links that are displayed here for easy access. These links are built-in to the page and cannot be customized. However, the link to the Excel Client may not be present if your system has been configured to hide it.

  • Favorites: You can open and delete web favorites.
