Reset Initiatives to active tracking

The Initiative update review process requires the system administrator to reset Initiatives back to the active tracking The Initiative approval process stage in which Initiative owners and system admins can update Initiative measure data and milestone status. stage after the Initiative sponsor approves the updates made by the Initiative owner for the current period. Resetting Initiatives enables them to be updated during the next current period.

To reset Initiatives to active tracking status:

  1. In the Navigation panel, click Admin > Maintenance.
  2. On the Maintenance page, click the Process Step tab.

  3. In the Initiative Pending Reset section on the right, review the listed Initiatives to be sure they are all ready to be reset.
  4. If an Initiative does not belong in the list:
    1. In the Navigation panel, click Initiatives.
    2. On the Initiatives page, click the bookmark icon () to the left of the Initiative.
    3. On the Initiative routing page, click Reject to reject the current step (Step 7) and send the Initiative back to the previous step.
    4. On the Process Step tab of the Maintenance page, in the Initiative Pending Reset section, click the refresh button and verify that the Initiative that did not belong is not in the list.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click Save.
