Profitability calculations

From the Profitability Calculation page of the System Management section in RPPS, you can calculate current profitability for the current period and projected profitability for the next 12 months.

Publishing data

When you import data to RPPS, the system performs calculations and validation of that data without releasing it to general end users. After this data is validated, you can publish it so that it becomes part of all existing account and relationship data. All of your relationship metrics are recalculated to include the new published data.

In the Profitability Calculations section of System Settings, click Publish Data to move data for a specific processing month into general release.

NOTE: Execute this step after the system processes the Data Quality Analysis (DQA) for the "processing date" and after you execute the Calculate Current Profitability and Calculate Projected Profitability functions. For more information, see Assuring data quality.

Using the validation reports

These reports enable you to validate current and projected profitability for products.

Inside each report, click the horizontal triangle to drill-down to greater detail among account types and their associated products. Hover over each column header with your cursor and click the filter icon that displays to filter data. Click the arrow in each column header to sort content in ascending or descending order.
