Managing table columns

When you are creating a new data or reference table, or when you are editing the structure of an existing table, you can manage the columns for the table. You can add new columns, delete existing columns, reorder columns, and edit column properties. Each table must have at least one key column.

In systems with installed Axiom products, certain restrictions apply to product-controlled tables and columns, such as:

• Product-controlled columns cannot be deleted from a table. Additionally, most of the column properties cannot be edited.
• Product-controlled tables can be configured such that new columns cannot be added to the table.
