Adding or removing customers from a relationship

Relationship Builder allows you to add one or more customers to an existing relationship or remove a customer from a relationship.

When you add a customer to a relationship, Axiom RPPS automatically adds all other customers with the same Tax Identification Number (TIN).

  • All customer records with the same TIN must be in the same relationship.

  • If you remove a customer from a relationship, the system automatically removes all customers with the same TIN from the relationship.

  • To make an exception for certain customers, contact your system administrator to add a specific TIN to the TIN exception list. For more information, see Managing TIN exceptions.

Adding a customer to a relationship

To add a customer to a relationship:

  1. Type a customer name in the Search Unassigned text box in the Unassigned Customers.
  2. Click and drag a customer name from the Unassigned Customers column to Create New Relationship. The customer name will display in the center of page.
  3. Click and drag additional customer names from the Unassigned Customers column to the customer name from step 2 to assign those additional customers to a relationship with the first customer. The number of customers assigned to the relationship will display in the bottom-left of the customer box.
