Manage file attachments

These instructions are for downloading, deleting, or editing the name and description of files attached to Initiative plan files in the Web Client.

NOTE: Depending on your user access rights, you may or may not have access to all the features and functionality described here.

If you have read only or read and write access to an Initiative, you can download and view any files attached to the plan file for that Initiative.

To download a file attachment:

  1. Open the Initiative’s plan file page.
  2. In the Task Bar, click the File Attachments icon ().
  3. Hover your cursor over the bottom right part of the file listing to display the edit icons.

    NOTE: The edit icons available to you depend on your access rights to the Initiative. For example, if you have read-only rights to an Initiative, you can download the attached file but not delete it, so you will only see the download icon

  4. Click the download icon () and then save the file to a desired location.

To remove a file attachment:

  1. Open the Initiative’s plan file page.
  2. In the Task Bar, click the File Attachments icon ().
  3. Hover your cursor over the bottom right part of the file listing to display the edit icons.
  4. Click the Delete icon ().
  5. In the confirmation dialog, click OK.

To change the file name or description:

  1. Open the Initiative’s plan file page.
  2. In the Task Bar, click the File Attachments icon ().
  3. Hover your cursor over the bottom right part of the file listing to display the edit icons.
  4. Click the Edit icon ().
  5. In the Edit File Attachment dialog, in the File Name field, type a more descriptive name.

    In the Description field, type a description for the file.

  6. Click OK.
