Shortcuts to import and export files

You can use a shortcut to open or execute an import file or an export file. By default, the import or export opens according to the user's permission level:

• The import and export properties open as read/write if the user has that level of permission; otherwise they open as read-only. The user can then execute the import or export from that dialog if they have execute permission.
• If the user only has execute permission for the import or export, then the Execute dialog opens.

• Task panes
• Ribbon tabs

Although some Axiom form contexts may allow you to select an import or an export as a shortcut target, these shortcuts are not officially supported in Axiom forms and may not work as expected.

Shortcut parameters

Import files and export files have one shortcut parameter: Execute Import or Execute Export. If this option is enabled, then using the shortcut will directly open the Execute dialog, assuming the user has rights to execute the import.
