Web Scheduler

Using Axiom Software's Scheduler, you can perform certain Axiom Software tasks using server-side processing. These tasks can be processed on demand, or scheduled to be processed at a certain date and time.

Most Scheduler setup activities—such as configuring general Scheduler settings, creating jobs and tasks, and scheduling jobs for future execution—can only be performed in the Desktop Client. For more information, see Scheduler.

The Scheduler area of the Web Client can be used to monitor and manage the job schedule, review job results, and process existing jobs on demand. Only administrators and users with the Scheduled Jobs User permission can access Scheduler.

To access Scheduler:

  1. In the Web Client, click the menu icon in the Global Navigation BarThe blue bar across the top of pages in the Web Client. The Global Navigation Bar provides access to system-wide features.. From the Area menu, select System Administration.

  2. From the Navigation panel, select Tools > Scheduler.

    Alternatively, you can go directly to the Scheduler page as follows:

    Example On-Premise URL

    		 

    http://ServerName/Axiom/Jobs

    Where ServerName is the name of the Axiom Application Server, and Axiom is the default name of the virtual directory.
         

    Example Cloud System URL

    		 

    https://ClientName.axiom.cloud/Jobs

    Where ClientName is the name of your Axiom Cloud Service system.

When you access the Scheduler area, a Scheduler panel becomes available in the left side of the Task BarThe gray bar that displays across the top of browser-based Axiom files, as well as various feature pages of the Web Client. The Task Bar provides access to various tasks that are specific to the current area, page, or document.. You can use this panel to change the current Scheduler view.
