  • Task panes

This command is included in the default AxiomMain.AXL ribbon tab, as part of the Administration group.

When the Security Administration command is selected from the Command Library as the shortcut target, it displays as command://ManageSecurity or command://ManageSecurityCommandAdapter (legacy syntax).

Shortcut parameters

This command uses a single shortcut parameter named Security dialog, to determine which dialog will be opened by the item. The parameter has the following values:

Security Dialog Description

Security Manager

Opens the Security Management dialog. This is the same as using Manage > Security > Security Management. This option is selected by default.

Open Security in Spreadsheet

Opens the Open Security in Spreadsheet dialog. This is the same as using Manage > Security > Open Security in Spreadsheet.

System Access

Opens the Control System Access dialog. This is the same as using Manage > Security > System Access.

Logged in Users

Opens the Logged in Users dialog. This is the same as using Manage > Security > Logged in Users.

The default display text for the command will automatically adjust based on the Security Dialog selection.

Visibility

Items that use this command are only visible if the user is an administrator, or if the user has the Administer Security permission.

Subsystem administrators can also see items that use this command, but only if the Security dialog parameter is set to Security Manager or Open Security in Spreadsheet.

You can use the Show restricted items option in the task pane or the ribbon tab to force items that use this command to be visible at all times (but grayed out if unavailable).
