CM Library command
Use the CM Library command to perform various calc method administration activities. The shortcut parameters for the command determine which action is performed.

- Ribbon tabs
- Task panes
This command is included in the default AxiomMain.AXL
ribbon tab, as part of the Advanced group.
When the CM Library command is selected from the Command Library as the shortcut target, it displays as command://ManageCalcMethods or command://ManageCalcMethodsCommandAdapter (legacy syntax).
Shortcut parameters
This command uses a single shortcut parameter named Action. This parameter determines which calc method management action will be performed by the item:
Action | Description |

Create new calc method |
Adds a new calc method to the library. This is the same as using Advanced > CM Library > Create New Calc Method. |
Replace existing calc method |
Replaces an existing calc method in the library, using the currently selected row or rows. This is the same as using Advanced > CM Library > Replace Existing Calc Method. |
Replace multiple calc methods |
Replaces multiple calc methods in the library. This is the same as using Advanced > CM Library > Replace Multiple Calc Methods. |
Open manager |
Opens the Manage Calc Methods dialog. This is the same as using Advanced > CM Library > Manage Calc Methods. This option is selected by default. |
Reset column layout data |
Resets the column layout data for template validation purposes. This is the same as using Advanced > CM Library > Reset Column Layout Data. |
Apply Calc Method Changes |
Opens the Apply Calc Method Changes utility, which can be used to apply calc method changes to existing plan files when plan files cannot be rebuilt. This is the same as using Advanced > CM Library > Apply Calc Method Changes. |
Menu |
Displays the full contents of the CM Library menu. |
The default display text for the command will automatically adjust based on the Action selection.
Visibility
Items that use this command are only visible if both of the following conditions are met:
- The currently active document supports use of calc method libraries.
- The user is an administrator or the user has the Manage Calc Methods security permission.
You can use the Show restricted items option for the task pane or the ribbon tab to force the item to be visible at all times (but grayed out if unavailable).
