Cache Management command
Use the Cache Management command to refresh the file cache and/or the data cache.
Can be used in
- Task panes
- Ribbon tabs
This command is included in the default AxiomDesigner.AXL ribbon tab, as part of the Developer group, and also in the default AxiomMain.AXL ribbon tab, as part of the Reports group.
When the Cache Management command is selected from the Command Library as the shortcut target, it displays as command://CacheManagement or command://CacheManagementCommandAdapter (legacy syntax).
Shortcut parameters
This command uses the following shortcut parameters. You must select one or both of these options. If neither option is selected, then the command will not perform any action.

| Refresh file system |
Clears the file system cache. This is the same behavior as using Reports > Refresh File System on the Axiom ribbon tab. |
| Refresh client data caches | Clears client data caches. This is the same behavior as using Tools > Clear UDF Data Cache on the Axiom Designer ribbon tab. |
Visibility
This command does not depend on any security permissions or on any particular context. Items using this command will always be visible.
