File processing using Scheduler

Using the File Processing Scheduler task, you can schedule a report for processing.

The report must already be enabled for file processing. You can use the report's native settings, or you can override any setting. You can also use batch variables.

When using Scheduler to perform snapshot processing or file export, if the file is not being saved to the Axiom repository then Scheduler must have the appropriate permissions to save files to the designated folder location.

Once you have a Scheduler job set up, you can run it on demand, or you can schedule it to be executed. For example, you may have a set of reports that you want to run every week, every month, or every quarter.

In addition to scheduling a single report for processing, you can perform batch processing via Scheduler. If you are using file processing to generate snapshot copies of many files, you can also use file collect to combine the copies into "report packages."
