Shortcuts to Axiom forms

You can use shortcuts to open form-enabled files as Axiom forms. The shortcut target must be a form-enabled file, and the shortcut parameters must be configured to open as an Axiom form.

Shortcut parameters

The shortcut parameters for the Axiom form will be the same as its file type. If the form-enabled file is a report, then the shortcut parameters will be for a report. However, in order to open the file as an Axiom form, you must enable the View as Form parameter (which only displays if the file is form-enabled). If this option is not selected, then the source spreadsheet file will be opened instead.

Additionally, you can use the Axiom Tab Name parameter to control the browser context for the form, if the shortcut is launched from within the Excel Client or the Windows Client:

If this setting is left blank, then the form will open in the user's default browser.
If a tab name is defined, then the form will open as a tab in the application. This only applies to the Windows Client. If you are using the Excel Client, then the form will always open in the user's browser.

If the shortcut is launched from the Web Client (meaning from a browser), then the form is always opened in the browser, regardless of the Axiom Tab Name setting.
